Brushfire Edition 74 volume 1:
As visual arts director and part time PR manager for Brushfire, I conducted a variety of tasks. The primary function of the journal is to review submissions and analyze works as a whole to curate a finalized journal for publication. I played a major part in the process, involving preliminary analysis and deliberation of works, all the way to digital design for print. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, critiquing art and writing, design formatting, and working with a small team all are necessary to make the finalized journal a beautiful curation of different art disciplines. In addition to the creation of the journal, I assisted with social media engagement and marketing, print marketing and community outreach.
